Explore player responsibilities, tournament procedures, fair-play rules and event conditions for Trident Poker Series.
The Trident Poker Series uses the Poker Tournament Directors Association (Poker TDA) tournament framework, together with the event-specific rules approved for play and any applicable venue or regulatory requirements. If they conflict, applicable law and approved venue requirements take precedence.
Players must follow the dealer, floor staff and Tournament Director (TD). Rules disputes should be raised promptly with the floor or TD. The TD or designated floor staff will interpret tournament procedures and make rulings fairly in the interests of the game.
Check your tournament registration, starting flight, table and seat assignment. Protect your hole cards, keep them on the table in view, and remain at the table with a live hand. Always act in turn, clearly announce intended bets and raise any error promptly.
One player to a hand: do not discuss or advise about live or folded hands or use outside assistance. Keep tournament chips visible and in clear countable stacks, with larger denominations identifiable; do not remove, conceal, sell, share or transfer chips.
Respect players, staff and guests. Collusion, chip dumping, soft play, stalling, threats, discriminatory conduct, harassment and abusive language are prohibited. Alert the floor to suspected misconduct.
Phones and devices must not be placed on the playing surface. Players involved in live hands may not operate phones, smartwatches or communication devices. Poker strategy charts, betting applications, outside coaching tools and unauthorised electronic or recording assistance are prohibited at the table.
Players must remain identifiable. Staff may ask for removal or adjustment of apparel that prevents reliable identification.
Verbal declarations such as check, call, raise, fold and all-in may be binding under applicable tournament rules. Make wagers in one clear action; string bets are not permitted. Keep cards protected until the pot is awarded.
At showdown, the cards tabled determine the result, not a verbal description. At an all-in showdown, live hands must be tabled after betting is complete. Rabbit hunting is not permitted.
Tournament chips and time-bank cards remain event property and must not be transferred or shared. Approved chip races and colour-ups will follow the published blind structures and tournament procedures. Chip-related misconduct may attract proportionate TD/venue penalties.
Where a blind structure displays an ante, Trident uses the big-blind ante format: a single table ante is posted by the player in the big blind position at the amount listed for that level.
For players with insufficient chips to cover both obligations, the order and handling of the big blind and ante will follow the TD’s announced house procedure.
Shot clocks apply from the start of play: 30 seconds for Poseidon’s Crown (Main Event) Flights 1A, 1B and 1C and Pandora’s Bounty (Mystery Bounty); 20 seconds for Main Event Flight 1D Turbo and Hermes’ Rush (Deepstack Turbo).
The Main Event player guide provides three time banks on entry for Flights 1A, 1B and 1C; two for Flight 1D Turbo; and one additional time bank after each break. Unused Day 1 time banks are intended to carry forward to Day 2. These Main Event allocations require final Tournament Director confirmation.
For Day 2, the player guide provides one additional time bank at the start of Day 2, one after each break and one at the start of the final table. The Day 2 carry-forward and allocation rules require final confirmation.
A player may use available personal time-bank extensions according to the event procedure; time banks cannot be sold, shared or transferred and should remain visible to the dealer.
Hermes’ Rush (Deepstack Turbo) and Pandora’s Bounty (Mystery Bounty) provide two time banks at the start and one additional time bank after every break. The dealer or Tournament Director may pause a clock to resolve chip counting or dealing issues.
If time runs out with no action or available time bank, the standard procedure is a fold when facing a bet, or a check when no bet is faced, subject to the TD’s announced house procedure.
New entrants and permitted re-entries receive the applicable starting stack. Seating assignments and table changes are managed by tournament staff.
Registration opens two hours before each tournament or Main Event starting flight. This opening time is separate from late-registration closing times, which will be communicated by tournament staff.
Multiple re-entry, voluntarily forfeiting a stack for re-entry, seated-but-absent stacks and late-entry procedures must follow final event-specific conditions. Forfeited stacks are not transferable to another player.
Poseidon’s Crown (Main Event) includes Flights 1A, 1B and 1C, plus Flight 1D Turbo. Qualifying players advance to Day 2 and the final.
If a player qualifies from multiple flights, the treatment of additional stacks and any related payouts will follow the final published qualification rules.
Day 2 starting stacks, redraws, time-bank arrangements and prize eligibility will be communicated to qualifying players.
The Tournament Director will confirm the Day 2 restart level and advancement procedures.
Pandora’s Bounty (Mystery Bounty) takes place Sunday, 6 December. The S$500 entry comprises S$200 for the regular prize pool, S$240 for the mystery bounty pool and a S$60 tournament fee.
Bounty eligibility, draw procedures, prize denominations and payouts will be announced before play.
Disputes should first be brought to the dealer, floor manager or Tournament Director. The TD decides tournament-play rulings according to applicable TDA, event-specific and venue rules.
Serious misconduct, cheating, abusive behaviour, chip manipulation or persistent delay may lead to warnings, timed penalties, chip forfeiture or disqualification in accordance with the TD and venue procedure.
Prize payment or administrative disputes must be directed to the authorised cashier or tournament/venue representative. The final venue process determines any appeal or escalation rights.
Event photography or video may take place where approved and appropriately communicated to players. Ask staff about photography, privacy or feature-table participation before play or as soon as practicable.
Additional recording, phone, headphone and identification restrictions may apply to feature tables when announced by the production team or venue. Do not assume all tables are livestreamed or that specific camera technology is in operation.
Play responsibly. Staff and the venue may intervene where a player appears intoxicated, distressed or disruptive. Ask the event team about available responsible-gaming support.
Tournament schedules and procedures may be adjusted when required for event operations. Updates will be communicated through official Trident channels.
Event interruption, postponement, force majeure, cancellation, refunds and payout-related issues will be handled under the applicable approved tournament/venue policies and law.
Official prize and payout details will be provided by tournament management before play.
